Separate from the pub dining areas, Percy’s Playground features a gated, secure environment where little ones can explore, climb, and play freely. Families will love the dedicated toddler zone for age-appropriate adventures and our family-friendly bathrooms with baby change facilities.
Hungry kids can enjoy our custom menu of delicious meals designed just for them, while parents can relax with food, bar drinks, or a fresh coffee. Percy’s Playground also hosts memorable kids’ birthday parties, making it the perfect place for celebrations full of fun and laughter. Who is Percy you ask?
Percy’s Playground is named after Harry Percival Lyons, a colourful circus performer and publican of The Stirling Arms Hotel back in the 1870s. He brought fun and excitement to Guildford.
Harry Lyons turned The Stirling Arms into a place of fun and excitement – with Fireworks, pony races and even circus acts on these very grounds.
His Legacy was joy, laughter and community – and that’s exactly what Percy’s Playground is for.
